Santa is not the only one on a mission this Christmas & we need YOUR help!

For most in Vancouver, the winter season is an exciting time where trees are laced with crystal ice, soft snow blankets the earth , the days get shorter and most certainly colder.  Anticipating the change in seasons, we bundle up to keep ourselves warm. Unfortunately  for some families, warm coats are a luxury they simply cannot afford. All across the Lower Mainland, there are families struggling to even meet their basic needs. For that reason, we are very pleased to announce that Preston Mobility will be supporting the  Greater Vancouver Home Builders Association (GVHBA) in launching their 20th annual Coats for Kids campaign which supports the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau and Surrey Christmas Bureau, two groups whose many initiatives help to provide a brighter, warmer Christmas for families in need. We also extend the invite to each and every one of you to come join us & take part in a greater & warmer movement!Preston Mobility will be a designated drop-off location for people wanting to give back. When we have collected all our warm Christmas gear, we will be heading down to the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau and presenting them with all of the coats, scarves, gloves, blankets and gifts! Our shared vision of ensuring that every child wearing a new winter coat is healthy, able to attend school regularly and has a strong self- esteem is why GVHBA & Preston Mobility have united with a goal of serving the needs of our community.

Last year alone, with the help of this wonderful campaign over 4,000 coats, scarves, gloves, blankets and new unwrapped toys and gifts were donated to children, teenagers and adults. We are rising to the challenge and fundraising is in full swing for this winter season! What is our goal? Well, it is to crush last year’s number & deliver more coats,  gloves, hats and toys to more families!

We have made it our mission to help those less fortunate by getting actively involved with this wonderful cause, and need all the help we can get!  Once again, we urge you to join us in rallying those around us to gather coats, scarves, blankets, hats and gifts so everyone can stay warm and enjoy this holiday season.
