Preston Mobility's Darelle Mitchell, Preston Mitchell and Seafair's Ken Hamaguchi present $ 10,335.80 cheque to Richmond Food Bank's Hajira Hussain and Margaret Hewlett.

Giving back to our community is an important part of Preston Mobility's culture and commitment, so when the opportunity presented itself to support the local Seafair Minor Hockey Associations efforts to raise funds for the Richmond Food Bank, it was an easy decision to get involved. We are proud to announce that more than $10,000 was raised to support those in need, at a time when there are record demands on local food banks.

In addition to supporting the Seafair Food Bank Drive, Preston Mobility became a Platinum Sponsor of the Seafair Minor Hockey Association.  “We live and work in Richmond, my son Preston plays in the league, and I recently started coaching, so this is really close to home and our hearts.” Commented Darelle Mitchell, CEO of Preston Mobility. “We are looking forward to supporting Seafair and local programs like this well into the future, as we try to encourage the Preston Mobility team to actively engage in charitable and volunteer opportunities that matter most to them.”

Each week, Richmond Food Bank volunteers offer an array of fresh produce and other grocery items to more than 1400 low income and marginalized people in our city. With this generous donation, we are pleased to be able to help make a difference in the lives of many families in our community.
